Driving with hand controls is a viable option for individuals with disabilities that affect their lower extremities, making it challenging to use traditional foot pedals. Hand controls allow individuals to operate the accelerator and brake functions using their hands, providing greater independence and accessibility. Driving with hand controls can significantly enhance the mobility and independence of individuals with disabilities, providing them with the opportunity to lead more active lives.

Here at Mobility Styles Inc. we have been installing hand controls for over 25 years. We service and sell most makes and models of hand controls and we are a certified installer/vendor for the Veterans Administration.

The Monarch Right Angle hand control incorporates one of the most popular methods of hand control operation, with an unobtrusive design.
Braking and acceleration are applied through mechanical linkage. Simply push the handle in a forward motion to brake or press it downward toward the drivers lap to accelerate.
The hand controls accelerator linkage is discreetly located inside the dash.
When the vehicle is being used by other drivers the accelerator lock-out feature can be easily activated in order to prevent unintended hand control acceleration.

Before using hand controls, individuals are advised to undergo an evaluation by a certified driver rehabilitation specialist. This professional assesses the driver's abilities, recommends appropriate adaptations, and provides training on using hand controls.

Mobility Styles INC. is certified by several factories such as: (MPS hand controls) MANUFACTURING & PRODUCTION SERVICES, MPD hand controls and VEIGEL BY MOBILITY INNOVATION.
